The Seven Virtues of Ara Veritas(Code of Conduct)VERITAS (truthfulness)- There is no tolerance for camp stealing, kill stealing and leeching. The use of any gaming exploits or hacks is known and prohibited within the Guild. If it violates the gaming agreements or code of conduct, then it will be frowned upon here as well.AEQUITAS (equity)- Avoid excessive greed or begging for loot, money, power-leveling, or anything else. We're here to help each other however possible. When functioning well, this is unnecessary, as we will always arise to each other's needs.VIRTUS (courage)- Excessive complaining is unnecessary and should be avoided. We all complain sometimes and that's OK, but evaluate how often you are contributing to an overall negative environment.DIGNITAS (dignity)- Avoid the use of profanity in public channels of communication. Even with the use of /filter, this is unnecessary and not considerate of those around you.HONESTAS (respectibility)- Avoid excessive use of public channels of communication. Considering the large nature of the guild and alliances, it is important to think about how many different people are reading multiple chats. When one of them is used excessively it can cause people to miss important messages.HUMANITAS (humanity)- Abusive or offensive behavior in general is not tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to the use of sexual, racial, ethnic, religious slurs, or vulgar emotes.PIETAS (dutifulness)- Help others before yourself. We are not a guild of solo individuals, but a team. We help ourselves as we help those around us.
