Guild Rankings
This outlines the basic rank structure of the guild.
OFFICERS - RANK 1
Rank 0 - Advocate - This person carries a heavy burden. The health and
well-being of not only the guild, but of it's entire membership, for it is
his/her full responsibility. The advocate is encumbered with the duty of guild
master. It is his/her daily task to see to it that all is well within the family
of Ara Veritas. (from 1 to 2 ppl)
Rank 1 - Steward - The weight of the role of Advocate to Ara Veritas is
considered to be too strong for a single individual to bear. It is for this
reason that stewards are entrusted with like responsibilities. They serve Ara
Veritas as a whole, but are dutybound to assist the Advocates in whatever role
ask. It is for this reason that they are granted like duties of the guild
master. (from 1 to 2 ppl)
Rank 2 - Council of Elders - Molded after Arthur's own round table, the council
is formed by the most dedicated of guild members. The council's duties as a
whole are to advise the Advocates and the Stewards as needed. The council also
has the power to over-turn any decision made by the Advocates by holding a vote.
Should it be unanimous then the council overrules the Advocates, If it is a
simple majority and the Stewards agree then they over rule the Advocates.

OFFICERS - RANK 2
Rank 3 - War Leaders - The inspirational and motivational warlord of the guild.
His/her job is to call to arms our many warriors in defense of the realm.
Whether it be the slaying of our sworn enemies, or merely the purging of our
precious lands from the many creatures that walk amongst it. When the word comes
from the War Leader to defend, all members of the guild are honorbound to
respond with urgency. It is for this reason, that the War Leader is expected to
use wisdom and insight into when to invoke his/her authority. (unlimited)
Rank 4 - Advisors - Special people provide a light to the rest of us. These
individuals are true caregivers. People that have the gift of teaching and
knowledge. These kind souls are constantly mindful of the solitary souls that
walk the streets of Camelot. Always mindful of bright sparks needed to feed the
fire of Ara Veritas. (unlimited)
Rank 5 - Keepers of the flame - These individuals understand the level of
commitment not only through purse, but also of heart, that is required to
achieve legendary status among your peers, as well as of the realm. They are not
only a crafter at heart, but are also committed to administering and assisting
the fledgling crafters and the crafting needs of the guild. (unlimited)
MEMBERSHIP - RANK 1
Rank 6 - Watcher - Guardians that have proven themselves to be more desirous of
assisting others, are encouraged to become Keepers of the Guild. These leaders
are encouraged to hold chat groups, organize xp groups, etc. These individuals
have experience and expertise that can benefit the rank and file of the guild.

Rank 7 - Guardians - For those fledglings that have chosen to commit themselves
to the family, they will achieve Guardian status before moving on to anything
else. These honored members of the guild proudly adorn it's colors, and
represent the family in alliance chat. When a guardian seeks assistance, it is
the honorbound duty of all members of the guild to come to his/her aid.

MEMBERSHIP - RANK 2
Rank 8 - Probation - For those unfortunate few that have lost the way. This is
the last recourse prior to banishment from the guild. This seldom used rank
possesses no rights whatsoever. Including the loss of the ability to use the
guild crest. (unlimited, hopefully never used)
Rank 9 - Fledgling - New members to Ara Veritas shall be fledglings of the
guild. Until they come to understand and respect the bond between the members of
our family, they will reside here. At the approval of the
Advocates/Stewards/Council of Elders they may be promoted. Fledglings do not
adorn the crest, nor can they represent the guild in discussions in the alliance
channel. Fledglings are encouraged to make themselves known to their new
brethren through the use of guild channel. (unlimited)
GUILD CONTROLS/MANAGEMENT
Essentially broken up into 4 categories;
Officers - Ranks 1 & 2
Membership - Ranks 1 & 2
All officers of rank 1 should have full control. These guys can do anything.
Officers of rank 2 should have a great deal of control. Including motd, inviting
people and promotions. I don't think they should have the ability to remove
someone from the guild. I don't think they should have alliance removal
privileges, etc. They should have all permissions related to keeps, etc.
Membership rank 1 should have full chat privileges, guild emblems, etc. They
cannot invite, promote, etc.
Membership rank 2 has only guild chat privileges. Nothing else. They cannot wear
the guild emblem.
